About me

I worked in logistics at Lidl for five years, from warehouse to transport planning. Helping colleagues with their systems there, I discovered I enjoy puzzles in software more than puzzles in trucks. So I made the switch: Software Engineering at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
Since then it keeps stacking up. Frontend with Vue and later Next.js, backend with Java and Spring Boot, and during my internship at AH Tech Labs I built innovation prototypes in Kotlin: from idea to working demo, including deployment, testing and data analysis in a multidisciplinary Scrum team.
In my second year I mentored first-year students for two semesters. After my internship I picked that up again, and next semester I'll be at it once more. At study association SIT I spent a semester on the events committee and am already doing the treasurer's work. From September I take that over officially.
Today I build as a full-stack developer at Cloudly Labs. I like working close to the terminal, on Arch Linux, with git and AI tooling as a sparring partner. Whatever I can't do yet I learn in the open.
